About Griff Griffith

Aurora Consulting’s founder

Griff Griffith’s career in international business management has spanned more than 40 years. He worked in the telecommunications industry with the Cable & Wireless group for many years around the globe, with spells in Gibraltar, Yemen, the Gambia, Mauritius, London and Hong Kong.  He undertook a range of roles for C&W – initially on the technical side of the business as an engineer before moving into marketing and business management.

In his last appointment with the group, he worked on assignment to a major start-up e-commerce venture in Hong Kong from 1988 to 1997.  Griff took on a succession of responsibilities – including marketing, business strategy, finance, corporate affairs – before taking on his final roles as deputy CEO and COO.

Griff has been involved in electronic commerce ventures since the mid-1980’s. He has worked with Internet/e-commerce start-ups in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

Griff has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Greenwich University and a Masters in Business Administration from Brunel University & the Henley Management College. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology.  Griff is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing , the Chartered Institute of Management and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and an associate member of the Institute of Directors and the Royal Institution.
