Griff Griffith – Aurora Consulting’s founder
Griff Griffith’s career in international business management has spanned more than 40 years. He worked in the telecommunications industry with the Cable & Wireless group for many years around the globe, with spells in Gibraltar, Yemen, the Gambia, Mauritius, London and Hong Kong. He undertook a range of roles for C&W – initially on the technical side of the business as an engineer before moving into marketing and business management.
In his last appointment with the group, he worked on assignment to a major start-up e-commerce venture in Hong Kong from 1988 to 1997. Griff took on a succession of responsibilities – including marketing, business strategy, finance, corporate affairs – before taking on his final roles as CEO, and COO.
Griff has been involved in electronic commerce ventures since the mid-1980’s. He has worked with Internet/e-commerce start-ups in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
Griff has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Greenwich University and a Masters in Business Administration from Brunel University & the Henley Management College. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering & Technology. Griff is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Management, and an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, the Institute of Directors and the Royal Institution.
